Santa Cruz de la Nueva Baeza language department aims to accompany and guide the English learning process as a second language. In addition, the comprehensive development of the institution's pedagogical proposal seeks, the training of students with a high academic level and critical citizens that from their reality and everyday life are able to make contributions to build and develop an ethical and a fair society.

As teachers we look forward that students develop their analytical, interpretative and argumentative skills through being in touch with history, culture, and society by implementing different pedagogical and methodological tools (play roles, music, CLIL project, reading comprehension activities, stories, news, literature, and opinion articles) that help students to achieve a meaningful learning. As well as, the development of their communicative skills in real contexts and the achievement of success at the academic, personal and professional level.
